Waking up : '
All praise is for Allah Who gave us life after having taken it from
us and
unto Him is resurrection.'
Morning comes :
'O Allah,by your leave we havereached the
morning and by Your leave we reached
the evening, by Your leave we live and die
and unto You is our resurrection.'
At the mirror : '
Praise and thank be to Allah. O Allah, make me good mannered as
Your made me
good looking.'
Wearing clothes :
' All thanks and praise be to Allah, Who clothed
me and gave me sustenance,
where as I have no power or strength.
Leaving home :
'In the name of Allah, I place my trust in
Allah, and there is no might nor power
except with Allah.'
Entering mosque :
' O Allah, shower blessings upon Muhammad,
and open for me the door of Your
mercy.
Leaving mosque
: '
O Allah, shower blessings upon Muhammad, and open for me
the door of Your
bounty.
Entering home :
'In the name of Allah we enter and in the
name of Allah we leave,
and upon our
Lord we place our trust.'
Before eating : ' O Allah,bless what You provided us, in the name of Allah.
After eating : All praise is for Allah,Who fed us and gave us drink and made us Muslims.
Getting up from a gathering
: 'How perfect You are O Allah, and I
praise You. I
bear witness that
none has the right to be worshiped except
You, I seek Your forgivenes
and turn in repentance to You.
Entering the toilet :' O Allah, I take refuge with You from all evil and evildoers.
Leaving the toilet:' I ask You ( Allah ) for forgiveness.'
Entering shopping area
: ' O Allah I ask You the good
of it and the Good of its people and I take
refuge with you from its harm and its harmful
people.
Seeing someone in tribulation
:'All praise id for Allah Who saved me
from that which He tested
you with and Who most certainly favoured me
over much of His
creation.'
Getting angry : '
O Allah forgive my sin, take away my anger of my heart and protect me from
the devil.'
Going on a ride :
' All praise is for Allah, How perfect He
is, the One Who has placed this
(transport) at our service, and we ourselves
would not have been capable of that.
Traveling : ' O Allah, You are The Companion on the journey and The Successor over the family.
Returning back : ' We return, repent, worship and praise our Lord.'
Becoming ill :
' O Allah! The Sustainer of mankind! Remove
the illness,cure the disease. You are the
One Who cures. There is no cure except Your
cure.
Afflicted by a calamity
: 'To Alah we belong and unto Him is our
return. O Allah, recompense me
for my affliction and replace it for me with
something better.'
Through sorrow and Grief
: ' There is no god but Allah, The Forbearing,
The Gracious, Glory to Him!
And High is He, blessed be Allah , the Lord
of the mighty throne.
Maghrib call to prayer
: ' O Allah, this is the beginning of
Your night and the end of Your day. I have
supplicated to You, so forgive me.'
Night comes : '
We have reached the evening and at this very time unto Allah belongs all
sovereignty , and all praise is for Allah
alone, without partner.'
Sexual Intercourse :
' In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep the devil away from us and keep the
devil
away from what You have blessed us with.'
Go to sleep :
' In Your
name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take
my
soul then have mercy upon it, and if
You should return my soul then protect it in the
manner You do so with Your righteous servants.'
