Metal Gear Online Preview

September 25th, 2011

I am still recovering from the Metal Gear 4: Guns of The Patriots trailer, but it is time to move on. Metal Gear Online is an exclusive PlayStation 3 multiplayer video game that is based on the Metal Gear universe. Konami hopes to exceed the success they had with the multiplayer component in Metal Gear 3: Subsistence. Hideo Kojima divulged some engrossing details about the game. One of the countless types of elements that were shown was the deathmatch, and the action seems to be as chaotic as Metal Gear 3: Subsistence. The controls is more along the lines of Metal Gear Solid 4. Gamers can press up against walls, utilize weapons from a third person perspective, shoot bullets while moving backwards, and lock onto foes without breaking a sweat. There will no doubt be a plethora of weapons to use at your disposal, and up to sixteen players can attempt to kill each other. Metal Gear Online is slated for a 2008 release date.
